Now that Week of Kindness is Behind Us, Learn How You Can Reach Your Speaking Goals
Hello Friends,
Now that Week of Kindness (WOK) is behind us, I would like to share with you some updates that can help you reach your goals. During WOK, I spoke about my experiences being on the TEDx stage three times and offered valuable insights on how you too can reach this life-altering milestone. Here are some things you can do today that can further help you reach this goal.
Get Some Coaching: No great speaker reaches their goals without help from an experienced and patient coach. Having been a community college instructor of public speaking for the last 20 years, I have a free offer on my website that you should check out today. I urge you to visit www.rosalynkahn.com. For more information, reach out to me on my website.
Follow Social Media Pages and YouTube Channels: Another great way to improve your speaking skills is to watch and follow great speakers. There are many out there to choose from. Feel free to ask me for some tips. I often share helpful speaking tips on my social media and do some great YouTube videos. My social links are at the bottom of this newsletter.
Get Interviewed: Appearing on podcasts, YouTube channels, and TV shows is another great way to practice your speaking and get your name out there. I currently have a talk show on Chow Entertainment KXLA (see local cable listings). I can do an interview with you on my show to help you further your message. There are also great advertising opportunities. For more information, contact me through my website. There are many platforms to take advantage of when it comes to being interviewed. Feel free to email me for more information.
Join Toastmasters: I have been a member of Toastmasters for close to 30 years. It all started when my dad encouraged me to join after I graduated from college. Today I cannot thank him enough! Throughout my years in Toastmasters I have learned invaluable leadership and speaking skills and have made wonderful connections. For more information, visit www.toastmasters.org.
Gratitude Beyond Words,
Rosalyn
